My Gift for Nina

I finally finished it! I have a very bad habit of knitting gifts for people and not finishing them ontime. I guess better late than never, right?

I chose this pattern for it's easiness (nice grammar, eh?)! I had made one for another friend who's granddaughter was coming home from China. What I should have done was knit both of them at the same time...that would have been so "with it" of me!

It's red because red symbolizes good luck in China...and I wish Nina all of the good luck life has to offer.

I attended a very fun class last night at Scrapbooks and Beyond in Topsham. Catherine Matthews-Scanlon taught the class. I'm too lazy to get up and take a photo and upload what I made, so that will be your tidbit for tomorrow! Such a tease, right? There is a photo of me on her blog...you can check it out: Sewing on Paper
