This is a birthday gift for my niece, Emelia. She has been reading Harry Potter and is infatuated with owls, hence, the owl in the tree. I got this idea from MyCraftivity, a website just "checkerblock" full of fun ideas.The piece of art is actually a book made out of the pockets of a pair of my husband's old jeans. I used fabric for the spine to hold the pockets together and added paper to the inside to form the book.
It was fun...hopefully she will enjoy it!
That is very cool and I'm sure Emelia will appreciate it. If she doesn't, just change the "E" to and "L" and send it this way!
