Makin' Art

Here are some things I'm working on. I'm getting a bit frustrated with continuity...a lot of artists have a vein of "sameness" in their work. I feel like I'm all over the place. I just have a lot of things that appeal to me.

What do you think? Do you like all of the different "looks" I have or do you wish that I did more of one style of work? What style do you like best?

Look through my slide show...look at some of my older posts. Tell me what you think...tell me if there's one style over another that you prefer...

Here's an incentive to respond....

If I get more than 25 replies I will do a drawing of the responders and the lucky winner will get a lovely prize shipped to them!!!

Dontcha wanna win???
This owl purse needs straps but ain't she cute???

This is a mirror...I tried to photograph it so that there isn't a lot of "stuff" showing IN the mirror.

These photos are of a planter. I have yet to find a plant to put IN it though!

This is a mirror that I had SO much fun with!

On a personal note...I have not had all of the time I imagined to be working on my art. Between doctors appointments and "life," I have been on the road!

I had a great time visiting with Gina in Massachusetts last weekend. Jolee and I made the trek down on Saturday, stopping at , of course, Ikea on the way. I truly wish that I had someone following me with a camera...I must have looked like a lunatic:

cart carrying 3 large, HEAVY boxes, large bag loaded with STUFF, 5 year old on my shoulders making my way through the aisles...it was rather comical.

But a quick trip this time! More like 2 hours rather than 7 1/2!

Jolee had a great time playing with Abby and Ava, Gina's 8 month old twins. Thank goodness Gina is a relaxed mother! Her girls got some good lovin'...that's for sure!

Enjoy your Wednesday. Remember...life is filled to the brim with blessings. We just have to breathe in, look around and SEE them.
